General Job Description:

Tree of Life Bookstores strives to provide both its customers and partner schools with attentive customer support that emphasizes creative efficient solutions and positive overall experience.  Our customer support representatives are this company’s closest contact to its actual customers.  They seek to provide clear communication and excellent service to customers while functioning as creative problem solvers as issues arise.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and positive care to customers while efficiently providing solutions
  • Manage conflict to provide satisfying customer solutions
  • Act as a central knowledge base and problem solver for internal support issues
  • Process customer returns and conduct inventory management rapidly and accurately

Skills / Qualifications Required:

  • Must be motivated to thrive in a collaborative, accountability driven team environment
  • Should be able to respond to conflict and tense situations with calm presence, clear thinking, and positivity
  • Ability to cultivate a welcoming and professional phone presence
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities required
  • Ability to master multiple data management systems including Microsoft Excel and internal systems
  • Efficient work ethic and willingness to flexibly complete tasks as required
