Fulfillment Center Manager – Las Vegas Fulfillment Center (Full-time)

The LVFC acts as a resource to all product lines at Tree of Life Books and has a balance of seasonal tasks that vary between receiving the product, inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution between multiple sites and individuals.

The primary role of the Manager is to prioritize the daily workflow while maintaining awareness and plan for the long-term operational needs of the Logistics team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the LVFC team through training, the assignment of tasks daily, and by working alongside team members so that all shipping and receiving is completed in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and solve any problems that may interfere with daily tasks.
  • Assist the Director of Logistics with the interviewing, hiring, and schedule of seasonal staff members.¬† Take charge of hiring when the Director is not available.
  • Take stock of supplies and reorder when necessary.
  • Coordinate pickups, shipments & deliveries for other Tree of Life locations as needed.
  • Work with the Director of Logistics to set production strategies and work to communicate and carry out the same.

Logistics Supervision:

  • Provide daily direction to all personnel concerning all aspects of workflow.
  • Be supportive of the strategic initiatives as set in place by the Logistics Director.
  • With regards to strategic initiatives, work to be able to give direction to all staff considering those initiatives.

Specific Assignments:

  • Take on assigned tasks as needed, i.e., shipping, receiving, etc.
  • Provide oversight to the maintenance requirements of the LVFC.
  • Communicate daily with the Director concerning productivity and any issues that arise.


  • Maintain a positive attitude always.
  • Be supportive of the Tree of Life administration and guidelines.
  • Be willing to take on any tasks needed to accomplish the daily needs of the LVFC and TOL in general.
  • Communicate problems/concerns in a timely manner, and in the appropriate setting.
