General Job Description:

Tree of Life Bookstores is a growing company focused on customer service, software, and logistics.  We provide course materials to college students all around the country as well as operate campus stores providing school branded merchandise.

The job of an Operations Process Analyst is to ensure cross-departmental processes are documented and accessible to all department heads.  They will also assist in the creation and management of new processes and evaluation of existing ones.

They will be a part of the Strategic Operations and Products team which oversees the development, documentation, and refinement of Tree of Life’s process and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of new processes and workflows
  • Assist in the management of processes still within Strategic Operations and Products.
  • Develop and maintain a searchable system to share documentation across TOL.
  • Encourage department heads to document departmental processes in the documentation system.
  • Assist department heads in refining their processes, documentation, and understanding of TOL systems.
  • Represent TOL when a task force is creating new procedures or policies.
  • Analyze any proposed deviations from documented procedures for unintended, detrimental consequences to TOL and share that with the affected parties.
  • Improve processes and systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
  • Work with a wide variety of stakeholders including executives, directors, and managers.
  • Act as an advisor to the VP of Product Development and TOL software development team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enjoy a collaborative working environment that pivots quickly

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years as an analyst or related position
  • Experience documenting processes
  • Bachelor’s Degree
